A wholesome, tasty meal freshly prepared and cooked on site.

We are committed to providing food that is high in quality, flavour, and nutritional value for your child. Through the Universal Infant Free School Meals programme, children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 can enjoy a hot, balanced meal at no cost — helping to build healthy eating habits from their very first day at school.
Our meals go beyond government standards. Our rotating three week menus are rich in protein, vitamins and essential nutrients. We also offer a daily vegetarian option, many of which include vegan ingredients.

Our meals are freshly prepared and cooked on site by Nick, who makes most dishes using raw, natural ingredients that are sourced locally wherever possible. He also takes the time to support children in making healthy, positive food choices.
Children enjoy their meals in a calm and welcoming environment, where good table manners are encouraged. Our lunchtime supervisors gently motivate pupils to taste new foods, helping them become more confident with a variety of flavours and textures.

While waiting for their main meal, children can enjoy fresh vegetable sticks such as carrot, cucumber, pepper and radish.
School meals currently cost £2.60 per day and offer excellent value for money.

Food for Life
You can feel confident about where our food comes from. We strive to source as many ingredients as possible from local producers, working closely with nearby suppliers to bring fresh, locally grown produce straight to the school.

We are dedicated to the Food for Life ethos — making nutritious, delicious and sustainable meals a normal part of everyday life for everyone.

Through our curriculum, children learn about the journey of food from field to plate. They explore how food is grown and prepared, with opportunities to grow, prepare and cook their own food throughout their time in primary school. Children in EYFS cook weekly, and throughout the rest of the school, children have opportunities to cook during our Fabulous Fridays.
